Archie and Dennis
Brothers in life and in business
Our craft goods workshop is located in Tel Aviv, where we build our brand upon a foundation that celebrates quality craftsmanship and tradition throughout every stage, from raw material to finished product. Our goals are and always have been to design and meticulously handcraft beautiful pieces in-house. Our designs are both timeless and original, driven by passion rather than fleeting trends or external influences.
Driven by our creativity and passion for design, we conceived the idea of crafting bags. Recognizing the saturated market of fashion accessories, we were adamant that any creation of ours must be unique, authentic, and boldly distinctive. It took us a full month to complete our inaugural bag, meticulously refining our concept and prototype, drawing inspiration from utility essentials and military aesthetics to shape our vision.
Inception
Propelled by the fun and the thrill of creating, we relied solely on hand tools and a single sewing machine affectionately named 'Monika,' all within a space more fitting for a twin bed than a manufacturing studio. Our goods embody years of dedication—early mornings before our day jobs, late nights over beers — teaching ourselves techniques and tirelessly discussing designs. We endeavored to solve intricate construction challenges in the most straightforward ways.
Our Greatest Joys
One of our greatest joys is the hunt for unique materials—old army gear, uniforms, tents, and duffle bags—found in supply stores, thrift shops, and markets. Uncovering items with handwritten initials or hidden messages in various inks evokes a sense of romance, prompting reflection on their past lives and adventures. Through deconstruction, upcycling, and creation, we breathe new life into these materials, crafting a collection of beautiful, practical pieces meant to be cherished by their owners.
Our Story
We're not saving lives here; we're simply crafting bags and garments. Yet, sometimes when we create a new style, we have a moment where it feels like we're saving our own.
